Our services include preventative, diagnostic, and minor surgical/injury treatment. Walk-ins are always welcome. Dr. Timothy E. Pitts, native of Valdosta, GA, along with his wife Brandy Pitts, Nurse Practitioner, recognized an unmet medical need within the community. They are excited to provide another primary care option in South Georgia. Patients will be able to expand the healthcare services they are receiving within one building. North Oak Family Medicine will be located in the connecting space with Southern Podiatry Group. With over 30 years of medical practice in the Valdosta community, Dr. Pitts is invested in the health and well-being of his patients and fellow community members.
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, David Jackson, will be offering primary care services at North Oak Family Medicine. With 22 years of Family Nurse Practitioner experience, David Jackson is looking forward to accepting new patients while continuing to provide top quality healthcare to better serve his patients and community. Dr. Tim and Brandy Pitts are ecstatic to be offering multi-specialty services in one location. Patients will be able to seamlessly fulfill their podiatric and/or family medicine needs at 2718 N. Oak Street in Valdosta, Georgia.

David Jackson, Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner, graduated from Troy University with a BSN in Nursing in 1994. Shortly after, he began his descent into his healthcare journey at the Emergency Department of Southeast Alabama Medical Center.
In addition to his medical pursuits, David has also contributed his service to the United States Military. David served in the Air Force for four years, practicing at a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department. In 1996, his department was selected #1 in the nation by the Emergency Nurses Association.
David did not end his pursuits there. In 2001, he received his Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Mobile. After graduation, he moved to Valdosta and began employment as a provider in the Emergency Department at South Georgia Medical Center.
In 2003, David accepted the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Rachel Velez at the Nightingale Clinic in Quitman. For the past 18 years, David has been providing primary care to children and adults. He will be bringing 22 years of experience to North Oak Family Medicine.
David Jackson stated the following about his future endeavors at North Oak Family Medicine:
